About Us
The Vision
Hi! I'm Lizzie, founder of Teamup Spiritwear. In early 2022, I was searching for sustainable, environmentally friendly spiritwear brands to support. Unable to find any, I decided to make one myself. Out of a spare room in my college house, I taught myself graphic design, how to embroider, and thrifted all of the materials that are used to create Teamup's unique pieces. I put a lot of care into the items I select, always putting our customer & the planet first. Through Teamup, I hope to spread awareness around fast fashion and its environmental impacts, because together- we can shape the industry & consciously consume.

Need to Know
You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers.
Do you wash your clothing?
YES! All articles are washed and air dried immediately after thrifting. Delicate garments are hand washed & air dried.
Do you offer shipping?
YES! Using fully recycled poly mailers, Teamup can ship anywhere in the US (for an additional fee calculated at checkout)! Although we offer shipping, Teamup recommends picking your package, as it is more environmentally friendly.
Do you offer a full size range?
Teamup is limited to the sizes & items available at local thrift and second hand stores. I am currently working to expand the size range, as inclusivity is very important here at Teamup.
How should I wash my Teamup clothing?
Hand wash and air drying is the way to go! If the original tag is still in tact, this is where further washing instructions can be found.
Can I order out of stock pieces?
Because every piece is one of a kind, once it's gone, it's gone. Turn on notifications for Teamup's instagram so you never miss out!
How can I get involved?
Whether you want to donate unused clothes, materials, offer input, you can reach out via email, phone, instagram DM, or fill out the form at the bottom of the page!
What's Teamup return policy?
We do not offer returns. If there is a problem with your item, contact Teamup and I will make everything right!
Sourcing
You should know where all aspects of your clothing comes from, down to its threading. This is why Teamup is 100% transparent with customers. You can read below to find out exactly how I source the materials used to create Teamup's unique pieces.
Fabric
Certain materials are trickier to embroider on than others. To avoid creating any waste, in these cases, I create an iron on patch rather than embroidering directly on the clothing article. This prevents articles of clothing from being damaged. The fabric used to create patches comes from sheets that I thrifted from a local secondhand store.

Machine, thread, stabilizer & more: The embroidery essentials
Lucky to come into contact with an AMAZING woman in the Cincinnati area, she sold me all of her unused essentials. This allows Teamup to continue creating, keeping old materials in circulation rather than heading to a landfill. Teamup does not seek out any new, raw materials.

Packaging
All items are packaged in 100% recycled tissue paper.
To tie the packages together, biodegradable twine is used. Bought from a wonderful woman off of facebook marketplace & dyed naturally with pomegranate seeds.

Clothing & Tags
Every article of clothing is thrifted locally or donated from friends and family. Visit the FAQ tab to see how you can donate. All tags are made from scrap materials, and safety pinned on.
